Lisa Marie has been a BWC certified medical provider since 2001. During that time she has learned the benefits to having a strong relationship with a patients case manager and the attorney involved in the case.
Case managers and attorneys are instrumental in ensuring that the process goes smoothly for the patient aso they get the care that they need. Lisa Marie believes that getting a patient better and back to work is a team effort between providers, case managers and attorneys and she loves being a part of a strong team!
Strong communication is essential between providers, case managers, attorneys and patient to ensure everyone is on the same page and the patient can continue to get the care they need to get back to work pain-free.
Effective documentation is also imperative to ensure that the injury is accurately represented so that the patient can get the care that he or she needs. The injury and patient restrictions are documented in a functional way that is meaningful to the patient, physician, case manager and at times the attorney.
